City of Refuge
The Norwich, City of Refuge podcast provides a walking tour through the heart of the city.
It examines the lasting impact refugees have made on Norwich over many hundreds of years.
On this tour you'll discover:
- What Dutchmen thought of Norwich in the 16th century
- How three African children came to be baptized in the city in 1807
- How refugees helped win the Battle of Britain
There are 11 stops on the walk, which should last about 90 minutes.
It starts at Norwich Cathedral's Erpingham Gate and finishes at the Roman Catholic Cathedral.
