You can order up to four items for each session. You must pre-order these documents when you book.

There are also two document request times for morning, 10.30am and 11.30am, and afternoon 2.30pm and 3.30pm sessions. Searchers may put in up to four document request slips at each collection.

You can also make a full day seat booking to look at microfilm and fiche - there are four seats available per day. You will have a dedicated film and fiche reader available to you for the whole day. Please ensure that any films or fiche that you use are left out beside the readers you have used.

We will send a confirmation email when a place is booked.

If you do not have access to email or would like to find out more, we can be contacted on 01603 222599.

You will also need to register for an Archives Card before your visit. Go to archivescard.com to enter your details and upload a photograph. When you visit the NRO, you will then need to bring two of the forms of ID listed to on the site.
