Searchroom information

From 3 May 2022, we are relaxing restrictions introduced in the searchroom due to COVID-19. It is no longer essential to book before visiting.

The Norfolk Record Office searchroom is open Tuesday to Friday, 10am-5pm. From 3 May, the searchroom will remain open over lunchtime.

Please do not visit the searchroom if you have any symptoms of COVID-19. To help protect yourself and others, please:

• wear a face covering if you can whilst moving about the building
• keep your distance from other visitors.
• Use the hand sanitiser available, and make sure that your hands are dry before handling any documents.
